Our HF antenna systems accommodate a variety of mountings, heights, and configurations. The time-tested Model 120 Series unique design achieves strength and reliability by merely hand tightening the sections. Shakespeare’s proprietary ferrule design ensures effective mechanical strength transfer with positive electrical contact, even during flexing. As a result Model 120 can be assembled or moved by one person in minutes, without special tools. A variety of accessories are available, including ground installation kits, a wide choice of mounts.

Mobile or base station

With up to eight 4-ft sections, this versatile fiberglass antenna system pulls duty as a 12–16-ft mobile antenna, or as a 20–32-ft transportable base station system. With the Model 4244 Spring Mount, the top three sections can be used as a 12-ft mobile whip. To this, up to four extensions can be added, adapting the antenna for base station use.

Our HF wire antenna kits offer tuned wire antenna solutions for use with vehicle-borne or manpack radios. This allows the radio operator the opportunity to configure an antenna as a tuned dipole for medium skywave paths or high angle skywave.

Shakespeare also offers a Tactical HF Folded Dipole Antenna, an NVIS System and a Low Profile Vehicle Whip.
