Line of Site (LOS) dependability keeps every unit in touch

VHF/UHF broadband antennas can be best described electronically as center–fed, coaxial sleeve dipoles, which are sealed into fiberglass radomes to provide long-lasting protection from the elements. The internal elements are brass tubing for maximum conductivity and dependability.

Freedom from ground plane

Many of our antennas have a broadband choking circuit to allow the antenna to operate independent of a ground plane. This innovative feature permits the antennas to operate on vehicles, shelters, buildings, mast and shipboard. The built-in passive broadband matching network is engineered to provide instantaneous bandwidth across the full frequency spectrum.

SDR radio compatibility

For tactical applications, our ultra wideband manpack antennas are suitable for Software Defined Radios (SDR) for use in a network centric environment over the 225–1000 MHz, 500–2500 MHz and 1000–2500 MHz frequency bands. This dipole design operates efficiently without need for a ground plane.
